Primer Red is a dark red Chalk Paint™ colour found in practically every culture, appearing in everything from Venetian palaces to Vietnamese temples, where red earths were plentiful and relatively easy to come by. Use it for rustic pieces or as a base for sophisticated colours like Château Grey or Versailles. It also works beautifully under gilding.
 
Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ is available in 120ml and 1 litre tins. 1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres.
 
After painting, seal indoor furniture with Chalk Paint™ Wax or Chalk Paint™ Lacquer, seal outdoor furniture with Chalk Paint™ Lacquer.
